When I saw Joxy in the back of the truck, I was shocked. He looked like a shadow of himself. Looking into nowhere, his eyes were empty. I remembered him a few month back when he was a waggy, energetic pup. Always happy to see people, a little bit to exuberant may be, full of life, very smart and not very well trained. Joxy is now a 2 year old lab with no life left in him. When I called his name softly, his tail did not even wag.Now his people are not bad people. They just could get him under control and used an Ecollar. They zapped him again and again until the dog complied out of pain and tuned out. They bought an E-collar in a pet store and used it without training.
Unfortunatly they are a lot of Joxy and his people. Most dog owners are not properly trained and do not understand the psychology of a dog enough to use an E-collar.
