The People and Dogs behind the scene

Catherine Potin was always around dogs, horses and animals. But it was when her German Shepherd Timba walked in to her life 10 years ago that she entered the profound world of dogs.

“As a French trained Chef, my favorite part of the job was not to create the most delicious recipe. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed that as well. Teaching and training others to reach beyond their potential through learning new skills would always drive me.” Catherine

Training has been part of her life for the last 25 years. While learning about training  dogs she discovered a world that she found fascinating, intriguing and challenging. Through her experience as a dog walker, dog sitter, volunteer with the SPCA and dog owner, she learned a lot about dogs of course but also about people and herself

Chris Poellein was part of an avalanche rescue dog team in Germany. Chico her dog at the time was the only Collie among 32 German Shepherd dogs. It requires intense training and dedication
for both dog and handler to be able to respond efficiently when a search and rescue call comes in.

Chris has done a lot of work with First Nations Elders for the  last 15 years. She’s learned their way of connection with Mother Earth and all living things. The many sacred ceremonies and practices have given her a deep appreciation of life.

Chris is a Reiki Master and an Animal Communicator
