A Comfortable Way to Get Paws and Feet Wet and learn at Your Own Speed and Convenience
When I was looking for help with my German Shepherd, Timba, I had a hard time finding exactly what I needed. We did the puppy class and the private lessons. But somehow it left me unsatisfied.
I am assuming if you are looking for answers online it is because you can relate to what I went through and are feeling a bit frustrated at the moment.
Through my experience I’ve learned some valuable lessons that I will pass on to you:
- The Puppy class was great for socializing – but often was too crowded for real learning.
- It seems very few dog trainers where willing to customize lesson to the need of my puppy dog.
- Lessons were taught indoors with no real life situations to test their relativity to what will or might happen.
- I needed help mainly with the recall. It was not that she did not come when called – At 4 months old Timba knew all the basic commands very well – but she would not respond at all if she was distracted by anything else.
Whether you are looking for Basic Dog Training for your puppy, or need to address some specific behavior issues we have the solution for you.
But before you even spend money on any training materials, I believe you need to understand where your dog is coming from first.
I invite you to claim your Free Info and Video Report Now.

I am looking for training methods for a disabled dog. I am fostering a 2 year old white Pit Bull/Am Staff/American Bulldog from a shelter. We don’t have the full history, but an MRI showed an undersized cerebellum. He has major balance and vision issues, however he is still a puppy. Recall is the most important obedience command I need him to learn.

The first thing I would do for your pup is add Reiki or TTouch to the training. Reiki is energy healing and TTouch is a technique developed by Linda Tellingtone Jones and affects the nervous system.
I am a Reiki level 2 practionner and work with TTouch as well and I have seen the incredible results with severely injured dogs (emotionally and physically). Which is why I am recommending one or the other to help his balance.
As far as training, I would not treat him much different. To teach him the recall I would use the same techniques that you would use for any dogs.
One of Timba’s best friend when she was a pup was a blind boxer. The two of them had a great time. Plays were always in a big field (no obstacles) or the yard. The main things for him was to keep things in the house in the same place and when on the walk, we would help him with obstacles and keep the walk low key.
I hope this helps. Keep me posted with your progress. What is the name of your pup?.
