Reiki is energy healing and TTouch is a technique developed by Linda Tellingtone Jones and affects the nervous system. I am a Reiki level 2 practionner and work with TTouch as well and I have seen the incredible results with severely injured dogs (emotionally and physically). Which is why I am recommending one or the other to help his balance. As far as training, I would not treat him much different. To teach him the recall I would use the same techniques that you would use for any dogs. One of Timba's best friend when she was a pup was a blind boxer. The two of them had a great time. Plays were always in a big field (no obstacles) or the yard. The main things for him was to keep things in the house in the same place and when on the walk, we would help him with obstacles and keep the walk low key. I hope this helps. I am fostering a 2 year old white Pit Bull/Am Staff/American Bulldog from a shelter. We don't have the full history, but an MRI showed an undersized cerebellum.
