Snooter The Smiling Dog
Snooter is a 3 year old Carolina Dog, she was rescued from a shelter a few days before she was to be put to sleep.
She likes to cuddle and believes that even though she is 80 pounds, she can still fit on your lap. She loves to get in the pool. She is always smiling, it is one of the highlights of my day.
She loves homemade beef jerky and the occasional gummy bear. She gets along with dogs and cats and is a very loyal dog….She has even melted the heart of my husband who had never had a dog….
Her real name was Chevy but after hearing the noise her nose makes when she is sniffing, Snooter became her name. Thanks Rebecca
Aries, The Sweetest Most Loving Dog Ever
That’s not to say he is a lapdog by any means. He is independent and enjoys his time alone but one of the things I love about Aries is his sincerity. He isn’t ALWAYS sweet (whereas with my boxer, its a constant thing), but he is sweet when it counts. And not just to me, to anyone who needs it.
If I am feeling down, Aries is the one who comes from anywhere in the house and sits by my side. If I fall or slip while on a hike, he doesnt ignore me to sniff the next tree, he runs over to me and makes sure I say I am OK before going on.
If a friend comes over after a bad day and sits on my couch to vent, Aries just seems to know, and he will love on that person until a smile comes across their face (really). He has been extremely loyal and nonjudgmental towards me through some of the worst times of my life and he has been here to make some of the best times more enjoyable.
Honestly, my friends call him the Robert DeNiro of the dog world, because he is such a gentleman, so handsome and smooth with the ladies
Aries is 12 years old (in February) and I got him from NSAL in Port Washington NY. Aries is also still very active and playful and we hike together in the Wasatch Mountains an average of 5 miles, 3 or 4 times a week, sometimes going up to as much as 7 to 9 miles with this old boy! Colleen
Chico Is Ready For Bed
I got him from a homeless man in Baltimore city when he was 8 months old. Now Chico is 11 years old and in great shape.
He is pitbull and american bulldog mix and is the best dog I’ve ever had. He seems to always be greatful for his new life.
He listens very well and I can take him anywhere with no problem. He is my swimming partner too. Ana
Toby, A Sweet Loving Dog That Brought Joy Into My Life
He is now two years old. He had been abandoned on a lonely country road. When I found him he was hungry and scared. I coached him to me with a cheeseburger.
When I scooped him up, he cried and carried on something terrible, but he didn’t try to bite me. My plan was to fatten him up and find him a good home. However; It didn’t take long
for me to come to the conclusion that my home was his home too.
The picture I sent was after Toby had been with me for two weeks. Toby is a sweet, loving dog, that likes to play fetch. He has brought much much joy to my life. Priscilla
Uno the Smiling Pup
Uno is my first dog and we’ve definitely been through thick and thin, he’s one of the most hard-headed and intelligent dogs I’ve ever met and he taught me so much about patient and perseverance in the last 5 years that we’ve been together.
I certainly wouldn’t trade him for anything in the world.Victoria
Tes Is An Amazing Girl!
Artest, or for short we call her ‘Tes’. ! Certain she is grateful to have a warm home having truly rescued her from the streets. I am just as grateful to have such a wonderful addition to my life. From living alone on the streets and having no relationships with others perhaps maybe a stray cat here or there.
She is one of the most friendliest dogs I have ever come across and most especially to people. Very communicative for what she wants, especially her belly rubs. When she wants to go out, ready to come back in, or no – I want you to come out with me and play – these are all distinct communications.
She is a beautiful dog both inside with a huge heart, and out with some of the most adorable innocent looks and a huge part of my family. Yael
Bronco Chose Us
Bronco chose us in June 2010. We went to look at the puppies listed in the paper and he literally jumped into my arms.
Since that day, he has been our loyal companion. He is full of energy and goes absolutely nuts for tennis balls.
He brings a smile to our face everyday. Sadie
