When you leave in the morning, it is pretty lonely for your dog. There is not much to do. Thats when a lot of dogs get into trouble. Bored with nothing to do they have a lot of time to go around the kitchen, living room , bedroom and get into trouble.

So here is an idea, let them hunt for breakfast. Your dog will love you for that. But hiding food through your house can be unpractical, messy and time consuming.

This why I love this interactive toy so much. It can hold up to 3 cups of food and comes in large and small size. The Bob A Lot is simply great.

You fill it with food or treats (holds up to 3 cups) and can adjust the level of difficulty to keep your dog entertain for a very long time.  A great interactive toy when you are away. Once your dog is done eating breakfast which can take a few hours a nap is probably in order.

It might not work for every dog

I can see that this working for my dog Timba or her best friend Tara. But Bear for example is more skiddish and very fearful of any new food dispensers`or bowl. I’ve changed her food bowl once and she would not eat. In the video you can see how it “bobbles” around which will get some dogs excited and interested but other might shy away from it.  So for some dogs this might not work at all. May be a way around it would be to start off with some treats she really likes and give her time to get use to it.

My first thought when I saw this toy was ” what a great thing for a dog that has to stay home alone”. But I think for all of us that have dogs that are good eaters it is a great way to add some entertainment in their day.

The top is a little narrow and I can see that can be attractive if you have a chewer kind of dog. But it is pretty tough and durable.

Priced under $20.00 I think the Starmark Bob-A-Lot  is an all around winner.
